A Saturday night chase involving N.C. Highway Patrol ended in a crash on Highway 211 near the Moore/Hoke County line.

N.C. Highway Patrol tells Moore County News that the chase came to an end around 10 p.m. after the suspect crashed at the intersection of Highway 211 and East Indiana Avenue. According to Troopers, the male driver was impaired and was in possession of marijuana. The driver also had a suspended license.

There were no injuries in the crash, and the driver’s vehicle was seized under the “Run and Done” law.
