A fire has completely destroyed a house and a car on Forest Circle in Aberdeen Wednesday afternoon.

Fire crews from around Moore County were dispatched to the blaze just before 3 p.m. and arrived to the home fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews from Pinebluff, Aberdeen, Pinehurst, West End, and Fort Liberty worked to knock down the blaze. Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff’s Office, and Moore County Public Safety also responded to the scene.

Officials tell Moore County News that no one was home at the time of the fire, and no pets were in the home and that all residents have been accounted for.

The house is a total loss, and the Red Cross will assist the family.
