A two vehicle collision on U.S. 1 southbound sent three people to the hospital on Monday afternoon. The crash happened at the intersection with Roseland Road around 2 p.m. and caused heavy traffic delays as the southbound lanes were closed while crews investigated at the scene.
Aberdeen Police tell Moore County News a Chevy Impala pulled out from Roseland Road in the path of a Chevy Malibu headed southbound on U.S. 1, causing a t-bone collision.
One person from the Malibu and two people from the Impala were transported by Moore County EMS to the hospital.
The southbound lanes were detoured onto Roseland Road for approximately 50 minutes by Aberdeen Fire & Rescue.
