A crash that involved a golf cart sent two people to the hospital on Wednesday. The call came in around 1 p.m. from the Pinehurst Country Club parking lot.

The incident happened in the main parking lot at the country club. A Ford F-150 collided with a Pinehurst CC golf cart occupied by two riders. First responders put AirCare on standby initially, but determined it was not needed once they made it to the scene and evaluated the patients.

The two people riding the golf cart were transported to the hospital. The crash is still under investigation.
