Two men have been arrested by the deputies from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office following a search in Aberdeen on November 15, 2024.

According to the MCSO, deputies executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Gaines Street. The search led to the seizure of several illegal drugs including cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, meth, ecstasy, oxycodone, hydrocodone and other drug paraphenalia.

The deputies arrested Vincent Ear McRae, 36, along with Michael Daquawn Lamar Thomas, 40, both of Aberdeen. Both men face multiple charges including possession with intent to sell and deliver the drugs.

In a press release, the MCSO says McRae is under a 48-hour hold at the Moore County Detention Center, and Thomas is being held in the detention center on a $10,000 secure bond. Both men have a court date scheduled for November 27.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Information and photos in this article were contributed by the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
